A Weekend Away!!

Patrick and I got to spend the weekend away with our good friends, Derek and Erin in Cincinnati! We had a "couples only" weekend (no kiddos). We had an absolute blast together. They took us to dinner at The Boathouse down on the river and then we walked around downtown and did our own little photo shoot. Derek is my graphic designer. He is also a photographer but owns his own graphic design business, Lightsource Graphics. Derek and I grew up together, so I have known him since the 1st grade! I will spare him the embarrassment by not posting old pictures I have of him! We spent the weekend talking about our new business partnership. We are going to offer custom wedding invitations, save the date cards, christmas cards, birth announcements, etc. using my pictures and his design work. Thanks for a great weekend guys!!

Julia is 19 months old!

This sweet little girl is the daughter of our good friends Andrew and Kristen. She has 3 older brothers and is definitely the little princess is their house. I had a great time just capturing her in her own element. She has so many fun expressions!

Meet the Richards Family!

Erika & Bart's Engagement!

Erika & Bart are so much fun and so in love. It was so easy to capture natural shots of them together. Patrick and I are shooting their wedding this summer up in Muncie on a golf course. It's going to be awesome! We can't wait!!! I tried something new with the picture below, it's multi-exposure. Notice Erika's beautiful engagement ring hanging in the tree!

2008 Mrs. Indiana Pageant

I had the honor of shooting my best friend, Erins' headshots last fall for the 2008 Mrs. Indiana Pageant. I have known Erin since she was 18 months old! We grew up together and she is like a sister to me. She worked tirelessly for many months to prepare herself for this pageant. She was awarded the "Miss Congeniality" award and the 1st runner up position in the pageant. Congratulations, Erin! I'm so proud of you!

Zack's senior portraits

Meet Zack Hadley! I had the privilege of spending time with him and his Mom, Sherri last Friday afternoon. Zack is a senior at Center Grove High School. He has a great smile and fun personality. I love the look we captured in his pictures because it expresses him so well! I'm looking forward to photographing his whole family next month!!

Donny and Dana's Engagement!

Patrick and I had a great time hanging out with Donny and Dana last Friday. We ended up getting to shoot on a beautiful sunny (yet windy) day downtown. They are an awesome and passionate couple and we can't wait until their wedding in June!!!!
